This place has over 600 alligators, and you can easily walk around to see them swim, rest, and eat.

Hi everyone, it's Anastasiia!

In today's video, I want to show you the alligator alley in South Alabama. To be honest, I’ve never been so close to alligators before — and when I say close, I mean literally holding an alligator in my hands. It was a baby one though.

Anyway, this farm takes a big area in the city of Summerdale. Whenever you arrive to visit it, there's a lot of parking spaces and the entrance is through the main office. There you can buy tickets. I think it's something around $18 per adult and they offer some discounts as well. Also, there you can buy a special alligator foot that you can just throw out to them and they will eat it.

Following the path, after the main entrance, there is a body of water full of alligators. And if you follow along, it will be a big swamp with many alligators as well swimming around. And you can see all of them from the bridge. And the distance from top to bottom is about 2 ft.

So the first and foremost is alligator feeding show that everybody hurry to see because they only make it three times a day and this fitting time will be on their website. I will leave all the links below in the description so you can check and we'll be able to see the fitting show itself. This is such a cool experience. I would never forget it. It lasts pretty long. And you can see the alligators in action swimming out from the water to get some fresh meat. And the man making this show is really, really brave. And I think he is the owner of this alligator alley. It was so cool. And I heard a lot of facts about the alligators and a lot of jokes. So, it was so much fun. And also sometimes I was really scared for the guy who was feeding them because alligators known to be really really dangerous and they don't scared of humans.

After the end of the fitting show, you can enjoy the nature around and the alligators who keep swimming in the water. And it's so nice to take a walk along the path. And then following this path, there is a swamp where there's even more alligators. You can also find some smaller alligators in different pools. In the farm, they also put like the age of alligators so you know how old are them. The real baby ones that were just hatched are in the office and they sit in right under the warming lamp so they can grow nice, strong, and healthy. I've never seen it before.

The interesting thing about this alligator farm is that other than alligators, you can also see some turtles and snakes. And you can even hold the snake the same way you can hold the alligator. And it's so cool. There's a lot of crates with different snakes and some fence territory with the turtles, some pools with the turtles. That was really interesting to watch. In the little fenced so-called forest, you can even find hogs.

Not only you can see animals, but insects. What I noticed is a lot of spiders. banana spiders in the swamp. Every corner has a spider web. It was unforgettable experience.

I really recommend you to come and visit it during the warmer months from March to October because around this month they start feeding shows. And if you go in there, it's 100% familyfriendly. I've seen a lot of kids running around and pointing to the alligators, but it's not pet friendly. And I think you understand why is that.

Another thing is for sure to bring some water, some sunscreen, sunglasses, and maybe a hat. It might be really hot here in Alabama, especially during the summertime. So, please be safe and enjoy the show.

Anyway, I hope you like this video and if you do, subscribe for more and I will keep showing interesting places here on my YouTube channel.

Thanks for watching!
